General Terms and Conditions – Rabimbox

These General Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between the company Rabim d.o.o. (hereinafter: the Contractor) and the client of storage or crate rental services.

1. Definition of Services and Minimum Requirements

The Contractor provides two types of services:

  • Storage on demand: Includes the delivery of empty crates, the collection of full crates, storage in a secured warehouse, and redelivery.

    • Minimum conditions: Rental of at least 3 crates for a minimum period of 3 months. After this period, the service is automatically renewed on a monthly basis. The notice period is 7 days prior to the end of the current month.

  • Crate rental: Rental of crates for the client's own needs (e.g., moving).

    • Minimum conditions: Rental for a minimum period of 30 days.

2. General rules and ownership of crates
  • All crates are the property of the company Rabim d.o.o.

  • Responsibility: The client must return the crates in the same condition as they were received.

  • Compensation: For a damaged, destroyed, or unreturned crate, a flat-rate compensation of 40.00 EUR per crate is charged.

  • Cleaning: Crates must be emptied and cleaned upon return; otherwise, a cleaning fee of 10.00 EUR per crate will be charged.

3. Storage on demand
  • Weight limit: The maximum permitted weight per crate is 25 kg. The Contractor may refuse to collect crates that are overweight.

  • Insurance and coverage: The Contractor guarantees the contents up to a value of 100.00 EUR per crate in the event of proven fault on the part of the Contractor.

  • Limitation of Liability: The Contractor is not liable for the contents if the client does not hand over a signed inventory list including photographs upon collection. Furthermore, the Contractor is not liable for the electronic failure of devices without external damage to the crate, nor for damage resulting from Force Majeure.

  • Lien (Right of Retention): The Contractor holds a lien on the contents of the crates until all outstanding obligations are paid in full.

4. Crate Rental
  • Automatic Renewal: If the client fails to return the crates within the agreed period, the rental is automatically extended for a further 30 days at the current price list. The Contractor will issue an invoice to the client for this period.

  • Misappropriation: A case of misappropriation is considered only when the client fails to settle the ongoing rental (renewals) and is simultaneously unresponsive to the Contractor's notices. In such an event, a full compensation fee of 40.00 EUR per crate shall be charged.

  • Contents: In the case of rental, the Contractor assumes no responsibility for the contents within the crates.

5. Pricing and Payment Methods
  • Payment Method: Via pro-forma invoice (bank transfer/TRR) or in cash upon collection/delivery.

  • Payment Terms – Storage: The first three months shall be settled in advance upon collection of the crates.

  • Payment Terms – Rental: Individual customers shall pay upon collection, while Business clients shall pay within 8 days of the date of invoice.

  • Delay Costs: In the event of a payment delay exceeding 15 days, the Contractor reserves the right to withhold the crates (suspension of delivery/return) until the debt is paid in full.

6. Prohibited Substances

It is strictly prohibited to store flammable, explosive, hazardous, perishable, or illegal items, living creatures, and objects that emit a strong odor in the crates.

 

7. Abandoned Items (Storage)

If the client fails to settle their obligations for more than 90 days and is unresponsive to notices, the items are considered abandoned. The Contractor reserves the right to sell the contents to settle the debts or to destroy contents that have no market value.

 

8. Personal Data Protection (GDPR) and Cookies

The company Rabim d.o.o. protects personal data in accordance with the GDPR regulation. The data is used exclusively for the purposes of performing the service. The website uses cookies to improve the user experience.

 

9. Dispute Resolution

Changes to the terms are effective from the date of publication on the website. Any disputes shall be resolved by mutual agreement; otherwise, the court in Ljubljana shall have jurisdiction over them.
